Describe the bug

On boot, I got the message "Press Y to reset fTPM ...", suggesting there was a CPU hardware change and the TPM should be reset. But there was no hardware change.

For me, this happened on a boot after the PC was shut down for a while ( kind of related to #172 ). But, e.g., for u/SantaBarbaraProposer on reddit this seems to occur much more frequent:

A matter of time until some poor person gets locked out of their data by pressing yes.
