Gpodder slows down if you have a lot of RSS feeds

I have all episodes enabled and when I open the application, all episodes is automatically selected which causes the application to freeze and load for a while. The problem gets worse when you add more and more podcasts over time. I suggest having the application open with the podcast bellow all episodes selected. I can then enable my search bar, filter using specific search terms and then click on all episodes. Which prevents excessive loading. Its not presently possible to open gpodder with all the podcasts deselected.

Or you can auto sort the podcasts by least episodes to most episodes. With the podcast with the least episodes at the top just under all episodes. That's another issue I have, you can make custom columns to place podcasts under but I wish you could sort everything by episode count or in alphabetical order. It would be even better if you can drag and drop podcasts into different columns. It would be much faster and more convenient. These are significant quality of life changes so i have little hope you will implement them

Opening 'All episodes' does take some time if you have many podcasts. A quick solution is to disable it and maybe also sections from preferences->View. Gpodder then opens with the first podcast on the list.

Would it help if gPodder would remember the selected podcast on quitting and on restart would have the same podcast selected, instead of 'All episodes'?
