README references MIT LICENSE file but repo has no LICENSE #5

Hi! Quick heads-up: the README references a LICENSE file (MIT), but the repo doesn't currently contain one, so GitHub shows no detected license.
Could you add a top-level LICENSE file (MIT text), and update any package metadata if needed?
