additional web tools for making patterns --

for sure want to move to web model of viewer on RHS and different pattern geenrating modules on the LHS
in addition to Matt's optic flow based design, would be nice to add at least these 3 new methods for making patterns:

1. Pattern Combiner — Combine patterns of identical length/size with different rules (add, multiply, mask, etc.)
2. Frame Draw and Rotate — Clickable interface to draw or modify a single frame from scratch or from another pattern, then apply standard rotations to generate motion sequences
3. Looming Patterns — Generate looming stimuli with constant velocity or exponential approach profiles

unclear if it's worth developing these in Matlab first....the 2nd one probably not, but 1, 3 might be more accurate if troubleshoot in Matlab first.
