When staging a single change in a file with many changes, the diff viewer jumps to the top.

Yes. Because ScrollOffset cannot correctly keep the currently viewed changes visible in some cases, such as when switching Show All Lines, etc., SourceGit has now been changed to keep the index of the viewed changes unchanged, that is:

You can click a line in the viewing block before staging/unstaging/discarding it.
