Hi, I’m Abhimanyu.
I’m a backend engineer with 7+ years of experience building high-performance, scalable systems, primarily in Java and the Spring ecosystem. Over the years, my work has centered on designing clean software architectures, robust data models, and systems that remain reliable under heavy load and real-world failure conditions.
I specialize in event-driven and asynchronous architectures, with deep hands-on experience across the Kafka ecosystem—Kafka brokers (KRaft and ZooKeeper), Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect (including Debezium for CDC), Schema Registry, and secure, production-grade messaging pipelines. I’ve used these patterns to build payment platforms, fraud-detection pipelines, real-time analytics, and notification systems processing thousands of events per second.
My core stack is Java (4-5-6-8-11–17) with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and cloud-native tooling on AWS, complemented by Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL/MySQL. I place strong emphasis on API security (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT), Zero-Trust principles, encrypted, resilience patterns, and observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
Beyond Java, I’ve worked with C/C++, Node.js, Rust, and Python for AI/ML workloads. I’ve built quantitative trading applications, automated trading bots, and ML-assisted pipelines that blend real-time streaming with predictive models. I’m equally comfortable working on monoliths, modular systems, and distributed microservices, and I enjoy mentoring, code reviews, and shaping technical direction within teams.
