Please include #612 in any future 0.18 release. Apache HttpComponents still supports building (i.e. actually running Maven itself) on Java 8, so upgrading to 1.0.0 will be a little more complicated. |

Replace current 1.0.0 SNAPSHOT with 0.18 - adapt changelog and pom and docs.
